What is Sense Fence?
Sense Fence is a patent pending product that connects to your existing electric fence energizer, monitors your electric fence and intelligently determines when to apply high voltage pulses to deter animals.
How does it work?
Sense Fence uses low voltage signals to measure the electrical characteristic of the connected fence. When an animal makes contact with the fence, the change of electrical loading triggers the existing fence energizer to power on.
Why Sense Fence?
Power Savings!!! Standard 12V battery powered fence energizers apply a continuous high voltage pulse onto the fence every two seconds. The majority of these high voltage pulses are applied to the fence when an animal isn’t near the fence. This leads to wasted power and depleted batteries every couple of weeks. Using Sense Fence, you eliminate the continuously wasted power and only apply high voltage pulses when an animal is present.
